safe house

after watching the tigers frustrating loss to clemson on saturday michael and i headed to the rural studio's grand re-opening of the safe house museum.  i love when they unveil something new in the community - everyone comes out and it's just a big barbecue.  it really is amazing to see all the talent here in such a small town.  for this opening their were people from all around the world - austria, spain, chicago and the list goes on.  a group of architecture students and professors came up from tulane as they have a similar program but they are big time followers of the rural studio.  definitely something auburn should be proud of.

michael and i both voted this project to be our favorite.  the safe house was great before the renovations but now it really is top notch.  the students did an excellent job preserving such a historic time in alabama.  i encourage anyone visiting the area to pay a visit to this museum.
