mallory's christening

on saturday michael and i drove over to atlanta for mallory's christening on sunday.  i was so honored when megan asked me to be the godmother we wouldn't have missed this for the world.  megan and peyton live in milton - such a cute town.  i am officially that person that lives in a small town and gets excited when going to a big city so we can eat out!  saturday night we went to the restaurant sip for tapas and wine.  it was sooo good.  and we certainly can't get tapas here in greensboro!

sunday we headed to the church for the christening...

mallory looked so cute in her dress {she really wasn't fond of her bonnet so a bow it was}...

then it was off for lunch at the jamison's.  lots of their family came over from birmingham and other parts of georgia for the christening so it was so nice to get to see them again {usually michael and i only get to see them over the holidays}...

and as usual megan went above and beyond with all the food and decorations...

megan cut the cake with mallory's cake knife.  this will be her's on her wedding day.  such a sweet tradition...
