on sunday i went to montgomery for gena's baby shower. gena and i have been friends since high school when we used to get our exercise on by walking the neighborhood {and of course catching up on the latest news}, then off to auburn where we were in the same sorority, and then to birmingham where we were roommates. needless to say, we have lots of great memories together.
gena and her husband jason are expecting their first child in april - thomas patton pope. it was a great shower and patton got so many great things. it was so great to see gena {so cute with a baby bump} as well as other faces i hadn't seen in quite a few years.
